We planned to visit Ponmudi Hill station which is around 50 kms from Trivandrum. We hired two buses for around 60 members. After a 1 hour journey with lot of turns, reached a point where we were stopped to order for the food which will be ready as soon as we will be back. Here starts the trek of about 3 kms to a waterfall which worth values the trek. This Waterfalls is named Meenmutty Waterfalls in the place Kallar which is nearby Ponmudi Hill Station. This is a must visit place for the people who is interested in Adventure, it might be little difficult for the aged. We returned from the waterfalls and had lunch to start towards Ponmudi. 

    Kerala although famous for various hill stations like Munnar, Thekkady this place Ponmudi also equals the atmosphere of the others. The paths in the short grasses provides a place to take good photographs. There will be Hill side view as well a hill top view to experience the cool breeze over the face. The Hill station need to be vacated by 6 in the evening. So reach soon in order to enjoy the most of the place. We started at around 6 and reached the accommodation before 8. It took around 500 per person since it is group trip.
